What Questions to ask during a consultation?

This is your first opportunity to get to know your potential divorce attorney.  Come prepared to the meeting wtih a written list of your assets, debts, income and expenses for you and your spouse.  Bring your past two years of income tax returns.  Be able to talk to the lawyer about the problems of your marriage.  Advise the attorney what you wish to obtain during the divorce process.  What is your number one priority?  Providing this information to your attorney will go a long way towards a successful resolution of your divorce action.
