A dedicated drunk driving or criminal defense attorney’s work does not stop at sentencing. Atty. Skarie will assist you with preparing for and navigating the intricacies of Kenosha County’s Huber (work release) and Electronic Monitoring programs.

  • Huber Packet: Before sentencing, a defendant wishing to participate in either the work release or electronic monitoring program should visit the Kenosha County Jail to pick up an application packet for the Huber & Work Release Programs.
  • Huber Release Hours: No exceptions to the (12) twelve hours per day unless via judicial authorization, and that includes travel time. Regardless of what the inmate’s schedule is prior, they must have it modified by their employer.
  • Transfers: Evaluated on a case by case basis; mostly dependent on the approval of the receiving county. Must be ordered on the Judgment of Conviction.
